Harrison County Court-Appointed Special Advocates

The client of this website was wanting a basic static website for their clients and visitors to easily be able to find them online. This website was initially designed and built with html, css, and images only. There was no CMS system behind it at first, but I later migrated it to CMSMS (CMS Made Simple) Content Management System for ease of upgrade/maintenance.

This website was a result of a client's need to have his website redeveloped due to a previous server host discontinuing support for the FrontPage extensions. He also needed to be able to easily update sections of the pages that showed up on all pages without having to change every single page. I built the website using php includes for this reason.

The requirements for this website were to build a website using the free templates, assets, and hosting provided by the client's web host. I worked with the client and the limits of the given webhosting solution to provide a site which both had the functions and aesthetics that the client was happy with. The site has the ability to be easily updated/expanded in both textual content, gallery images, and future functionality (such as the addition of paypal integration if/when the client chooses to sell her products). The artwork is protected from immediate copyright infringement through the implementation of both right-click disabling and a watermark on all gallery images. The video on the home page was uploaded to youtube and embedded into the website.
This website still has some work that needs to be done to it.
